Can you power all the electronics (servo's/gyro) with the stock align ESC that comes with the 250 or do you need to run a separate reciever pack? What is a good gyro/tail servo combo for the 250 for doing 3D? Kinda new to electic heli's.

The speed control contains an internal voltage regulator that allows you to power your on-board electronics using the same battery that you power the motor with.

The speed control - ESC - cable plugs into the throttle channel of your RX, and supplies power to the electronics through that connection. This is fine, don't worry.

Most current gyros on the market work fine in the 250. The GY401 (though big), Spartan, Inertia 860, GY520, JR 770, JR370, Mini-G. And most of the micro tail rotor servos work well, too.

Steer clear of the Align DS420 for use on the tail. Some people have good luck with it, the majority don't.
