My Posts This: Topic  Forum		how long do u have to charge the tx battery?just got a dx7 3 days ago and have had it on charge for 2 days,when i turn it on it reads 9.6 and it dies within 5 to 6 min.is the battery bad in a new radio already

It should read about 11.5V fully charged for the first few minutes.

I think you have a bad battery pack in your TX.

3 years is enough time wasted. Taking a break for a while.

Are you using the charger that came with the radio and not an old Futaba one or some other charger where you might have the leads reversed?

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		^+ 1 with Barracuda In the spektrum manual it states Jr has polarity opposite of regular wall chargers with there radio equipment do not charge with others. That maybe your problem that ur battery is not charging.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I had a DX-7 that came with a bad battery too. It may be a good time to get a li-po. I 'm sure if you contacted them about it they would replace the stock pack for you. They did for me.

I agree, sounds like a bad Tx battery, probably a bad cell. Send it back to horizon. Don't attempt to fly it.
