It looks like the Jetcopter is what I have my mind set on buying . Some questions maybe you guys that own a jetcopter can help me with .

I see the recommended servos are 9155 footabas , i'm assuming because they are shallow servos . Would I be limited to that style servo or can you run a standard sized servo in the jetcopter ?

I'm partial to the 8311's and the specs are greater than the 9155's so they should do the job unless the shallow servo is the big issue .

If you're not living on the edge you're just taking up space !

JR 8311's work perfect. That is what i have in my jet copter and turbine cobra. If you like PM me and I can give you a hand on the set up for push rod lengths and so forth.

I have 9550s on mine (the orange one you saw on YouTube) and they work well. I have also tested 8717s on it and they also work fine, with no problems from the deeper servo dimensions.

Relating to your other post on bogging, it really doesn't at 10 degrees. Bogging is bad as it causes the EGTs to go up. The temps that my machine does during the aerobatics are low, rarely going over 600.

Also, be careful setting up 4 point CCPM as to not cause binding in the swash. You should pull one link off the lower swash rods and the ball should be centered right on the link.

Enjoy the Jetcopter!
