I have a logo 500 vbar without a swashdriver, it has a cage that attaches to the bottom of the headblock that keeps the rods in line.

Where can I get another? What part number is that? Is it even stock mikado, just old? I have no idea.....

Mine is a little cracked up.

Not even close. I have a couple of those laying around.

Re-read the post, without swash driver. Its a cage that bolts to the bottom of the headblock and eliminates the need for a swashdriver, as it holds the control rods in place. Ill take a pic....

If it's just the plastic bar, #4018. It's in the Manual for 500/600 3D.

Rig, I have checked my copies of old and new manuals. You are chasing the old style swash driver, part #4018.

Plastic driver right hand side if pic attatched to clamp ring part #4048

The new version swash driver(complete assembly) is also listed as part #4018.

Best way to source one would be calling or e-mailing Mikado stockists.

I do know PerthRC in Australia has one in stock, I just called the store owner and confirmed this. Email Brian if you cant find one closer to you he'll fix you up.

I would suggest switching to the newer "swashdriver", there is a reason why they abandoned the old style (you get slop/phasing issue) since it can actually move when you load/unload the swash.

Ive questioned this myself numerous times for awhile now, and half is broken off, but it flys great.

I also never have to worry about breaking the swash driver like I do every other crash on my other machines.

I also use it due to the fact the swash doesnt have 4 ball capability at this time, and im a cheap sob.

Thats the same idea, but with a brass bushing to tighten the phasing issue.

I like mine. Actually, I love my logo 500. The vbar has no issue with this phase-aligner, and I dont either.

Im prob not a good enough pilot to tell the diff in the 2 designs, but if its for longevity having the ball-raced swash driver, then I cant fly that many flights to distinguish a difference.......and I fly it a lot.
