I bought a used MSR here on Runryder and I am having a heck of time getting it to fly. It binds to my DX7 no problem. Spools up fine but I have to use full right aileron to keep it from zooming off to the left, to compensate I adjusted the pushrod so much that the swash plate is almost at a 30% angle away from Horizontal. If I can get it steady in the air then at all it starts the back and to the left "toilet bowl" flat spin until I set it down. I have put new blade grips and new blades on it. Can the carbon fiber main shaft be bent? Any input would help. Thanks Clark

Pop both pushrods off, are they both the same length? If not, make them so. Start there.

Set all your trims to center, center the left stick. Put the links back on (make sure they are the correct length) and you should be good. Also, make sure the servo arms are 90 degrees when your left stick is at center.

Hi BigC

the mainshaft on all mSRs is at a slight angle , this is normal , and if you look they have the tail motor at a slight angle , this is normal too

i would start with a fresh model memory in your TX , it can be either acro or heli , but make sure it is reset to a blank state , all you might want to change is the name , if you use heli , be sure it is set to 1 servo normal

with the servos you will notice that they are linier and do not have arms , but do check that they both work with the right stick , this will tell you if it is a bad servo

the other thing to check with the servos , is they can have some play in them to the point that the gear on the servo motor does not engage the servos worm , they can just be pressed back together if this is the case

look at the tail motor and the servo gears to be sure there is not lint or hair caught in them

you want the swash level from both side and front , center the trims and adjust the links for this

be sure the swash has not popped apart

the flybar should not bind in any way , you will probably see it has some play this is OK

keep us posted
