My Posts This: Topic Forum | I've had my batteries and charger for 4-6 months now. The charger has only been used on the 4 lipo batteries I have, and each battery has had approx 10 charges a piece. With the exception of 1 battery, I've never drawn any past 80%. I got a new heli and started flying it. It seems to lose power after about 3 minutes which I was thinking could be something to do with my ESC settings... So I take the battery in to balance charge it, and my charger reads full within 30 seconds. I break out a second battery, and same results.. 3 minutes of operation, then head speed starts to drop. I land immediately, take it in, plug it into the charger.. 10-20 seconds in, it reads 12.6v fully charged. Shows all cells at 3.92v... It doesn't make any sense.. I'm thinking it has to be the charger.
Anyone else ran into this before? I'm using the Turnigy Accucell-6 balance charging Lightmax 2200mah 20C batteries at 1C charge speed. Up until today, I've never had a problem. I even tried stepping the charge speed down.. same results.. instant full reading. |
