My Posts This: Topic  Forum		This is my new 500. It has a custom designed chassis made from G-11. The heli has JR DS3517MG cyclic servo's and a JR Z9100S for the tail. The gyro is a GY520. Motor is a Scorpion 3026-1400 with a 16t pinion. ESC is an Align 100 amp with a Castle BEC. Canopy is a one off fiberglass from my own mold. Did the airbrush work as well.

Thanks. The main reason for the chassis was to make the battery more compact so the canopy does not have to stick out so far. Bet I could fit a 10s in there. I dont like the fish head look of most helis. Thats why I go to all of the pain to make my own molds. Takes me about a full week to get one ready. The fleet pic is 3 different canopy molds.

Yup... Working on a "I dont care" flying canopy that is bright and goes on easy. I have considerable time in buck/mold/fab and paint on this one.

I managed to bend the tail rotor shaft yesterday. The 16t is way too much RPM for me. Going back to the 13. Been waiting to get it finished to come out and crash it. Wont get the new shaft till' Mon. Maybe come out and destroy the 450.
