Hi,
I'm searching the right helicopter for a beginner,I saw a similar topic on this forum that gave me some options so I would like to get some more information:
My options are:
T-rex 450
Blade 400 3d RTF
Falcon 3d

Is it worth for an absolute beginner to spend around 700$ for the t-rex calculating that I will crash many times ,would I be able to set up a brand new t-rex(as I understood if you buy it new you have to asseble it from "0" here is the advantage of the blade 400 that comes ready to flight.
If you have some other models that are good for training pleas write what are the advantages respect those three
Thanks

Ok , for sure forget about the Falcon(Junk).

If you can do it get the Trex 450 and build it yourself from the ground up. This way you'll learn something.

If at all possible don't go it alone find someone local to help you and GET A SIM.....

I vote for the 450, build it yourself as previously said. That way when you crash you will know how to repair it.
Also make sure you use training gear.
Also as said above, get help if at all possible and get a simulator for your computer.
A lot of terms are used which won't make sense at first so ask questions on this form (RunRyder) and you will get answers.
EDIT:
If you have to order and there is no local hobby shop that carries spares, order extra baldes (CHEAP WOODEN ONES), extra mains shafts, extra feathearing shafts, skids and struts ect.

My vote would be the 450 also, Blade 400 is good but not great.
Also get a sim if you don't have one so you can do some practice.
As for sim, the vote has to be on the Phoenix

your biggest disappointment would be to get a falcon 3d. such trash.

trex 450 100 times better.

I'll also add the 450 has been around a long time and spares are available and easy to get. (Even if by mail order)
There is a lot of setup info on the 450 when you search the web, plus many RR members have been though the 450 craze. It was one of my first and I have a stack of broken blades to prove it.

Out of the selection you gave, the T450 hands down. It is the sturdiest of the helicopters you listed and parts are available everywhere. The Blade is a good helicopter, buts needs some upgrades that makes it cost about the same as a better equipped T450. I have experience with both, and the T450 is the better choice. A T500 would be even better.

Voodoo is right, do not skimp on electronics, you will just have to upgrade. Do it right the first time.

aalso yes 700$ on first heli is fine even tho you crash the crashs will probably cost like 30-50$ each max most costing like 15 or so also you get 2 of each part in the spares packs so it is worth it and trex 450's have TONS of parts carriers

If you wanted my 2 cents. I would save up and just get a 30 or 50 or even a 500 kit. 450's are nice. but too small and pepole just out grow them way to fast also and they can get outta hand if you fly to far from yourself as we all know we've been there. just do your home work and really think about what you can afford and have fun .

Did any one see where that landed???

I disagree, as I get better, I am starting to go back to smaller heli's. They perform very good, far better than most peoples skills, and the battery's and parts are cheaper.

I fly a Logo 500, T700, Trex 500, and a Trex 250. My T250 and T500 get most of my flying time, they are just fun man!

I started out with a Raptor 50 but a Trex 450 would be great also. However a good sim would be the best way to go. Wish I had one before I started, plus if I would have known about RR I wouldn't have wasted so much money on cheap helis.
