Hello Hiboro guys! I am a beginner and I have a Beam E4 and a Protos 500 both electric. I can hover pretty well and I am starting to enter foward flight.
I want a gasser for Christmas. My mentor has a Freya for all his 3D and most of his flying outside of his Jetcopter.
I think I want to enter the gasser game with a Freya. Where Can I get the best deal for what package? Should I get the Freya or another Hiboro model? I would like the package with everything except receiver and radio. I did a google on Freya and got alot of images but hardly any stores. Do you guys have any suggestions? I have a JR 8103 radio and 10 channel receivers. Unless you dont count the battery channel.
I dont think I can buy used because at this time of the year with the holidays coming up we are kinda cash poor but I certainly can charge it if I can get the CEOs approval (wifey) she doenst carry debt.

Thanks in Advance.

GAS or NITRO ?

there is a huge difference.

If you are "cash poor", then enjoy what you have, and don't get involved with more expensive toys that are a bit more tempermental.

Repairs are expensive nomatter what you have. Stick with what you've got, and get good with them. they are both solid flying platforms.

You should look at the SDX by hirobo. Its a Freya on crack !

Fly it like its a Sim, Crash it like yer Rich !

SDX.........

Take a look at the SDX.... it will be a bit less then the Freya to set up and as Dave said... it is a Freya on "CRACK"!!!!!!!!!!!!! But still stable enough for the newer pilot to take on and grow right into....
I have flown a LOT of different heli's (still do) and this is the truest flying unit I have ever owned.... take a look..... and yes as Dave pointed out, it is a nitro bird.... and there are others that do run on gasoline like your weed wacker!!!!!

Good Luck and BREAK OUT THE CC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stan
