My Posts This: Topic Forum | I don't think it flies much like my real mSR at all. The mSR in the sim behaves pretty much like a normal neutrally stable FP heli, whereas the real mSR has quite a bit of positive stablity; it basically handles like a really fast and maneuverable coaxial.
With my real mSR I have to hold the cyclic stick forward to keep it flying forward, and if I let off the cyclic stick it will come to a stop. In the simulator if I get it moving fast and then let the cyclic back to neutral, the heli just keeps flying forward just like a normal single rotor heli would. What's more, with my real mSR I can hold the cyclic full forward, and give it full throttle, and it will just fly forward at full speed. In the sim though if you give full cyclic it dives into the ground. Again this is not at all how the real mSR behaves, but is how a normal 90 degree flybar heli would behave.
I agree with T-Rex-Flyer that there's no real need to have beginner helis like a Lama or mSR in a simulator anyway since they're so easy to fly, so I don't really care. But if they're going to put the mSR in there, it would be nice if they made it behave at least somewhat realistically. |
