The dimension for "D" is 133.5mm and that is to the back edge of the battery. In the picture you provided it looks like the P2 card door sticks out past the battery, but it doesn't. It must be a preproduction battery. I have the standard 5400 mah pack that comes with the camera.

The dimension for "E" is 59mm. Both dimensions are to the dead center of the threaded mounting hole.

The main camera in this size for consideration for a new mount should be the Sony EX-1 as it is the "people's" choice right now. I only mention this as it is quite a bit wider on the grip side from the center of the mounting hole. I have flown this camera and was supprised by how wide it was compared to the HPX 170. I do not have the dimension to give you, but I'm sure that someone on this board or the other board can get that number for you.
