Depends on condition of helicopter and motor? If its in great condition I would say its probably worth a few hundred dollars tops. Remember they don't make that motor anymore so its hard finding replacement parts. Not only that buy genuine Vigor CS parts are expensive and they don't make that helicopter anymore either.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

If it has gold carbon frames it is an after market frame set probably made by carbon Xtreme. I don't think they make frames for the JR Vigor CS anymore? If its a black carbon frame set with slightly gold weave in it then it is the standard JR Vigor CS frame set. The Vigor CS has the torque tube, regular Vigor's had a belt.

Cheers, Patrick

Its really only worth it if you can afford to crash it? Remember JR parts are pretty expensive and 700mm/710mm carbon blades are expensive as well. A normal crash will set you back $300.00 no problem if you didn't break anything major like side frames or anything else carbon. The most expensive things you will go through will be bevel gear, bevel pinion gear, torque tube, main shaft, etc. Also you get only 6 flights with a gallon of fuel.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

I just replaced the clutch bell, a couple of bearings and it was $100.00. Remember, it's all relative. Parts are available. Parts are pricy, no question. It is a great flying heli, so long as it isn't too much for you. If your skills aren't that great, I'd look at a Raptor 50 or a T-rex. I don't know anything about T-rex, but the Rappy flys great and parts are cheap. The Vigor flys like it's on rails. So long as you don't try stuff you're not ready for, you should be fine. But once you are ready for the flippy-floppy stuff.... you're all set. Set it up tame and it can be your daily flier. It all depends on how you set it up and fly it. Good luck, it's a great heli!!
