This looks intresting.. Do you have an english site at all? Also, when you say Autonomous, are you speaking of stablized using waypoints, or are you talking along the lines of Stanford and true autonomy? If so, what approach are you taking?

I would love to hear more.

Humm.. not much info. I really like the Idol of Staff and the Morgue sections.

Ahhh WePilot. Viking's offering! Civil GPS with an accuracy of +-1m? I have some ideas on that.. =). I have been looking into very high resolution survey photography for things like environmental impact assesments and water run off surveys.. that kind of thing. Greater that 10cm is what I am shooting for, but you need a high precision GPS. I think it is posible to cheat a little bit and get a VERY high precision using the same methods as they used to position the towers on that crazy bridge they just built in france.

Very cool sir! Was kinda hoping you were going to say you were using a evolutionary learning algorithm, but hey! Dreams dreams dreams =).

Thanks for the info!

Have you thought about using ground based GPS stations for higher accuracy?

It shows the automatic take-off and fail-safe only by radio transmitter.

Looks like a Yamaha RMax to me. Is it, or did you guys reverse engineer one. WeControl has been making plug and play modules for the RMax for a while now. China had no problem reverse engineerig the RMax for a ,"Military UAV" that they claimed as their own design.

Either way, good luck with it. Parts are a limited quantity for the RMax. Aftermarket could do well if the parts are compatable.

The beatings will continue until morale improves...

pseudonym,
We routinely flew our Eagle 1B helicopters and created some nice Geo-rectified mosaics using OSSIM http://www.ossim.org/OSSIM/OSSIM_Home.html

We were not using differential GPS and on average our LAT was within 0.85 meter while the LONG was within 3.25 meters.

"for things like environmental impact assesments and water run off surveys... that kind of thing. Greater that 10cm is what I am shooting for, but you need a high precision GPS."

Why would you need greater then 10cm for a water run off survey?
