I dont think there is, but though I would ask.

I can make the tail rotor stick at full, but once it starts it doesent stop, I need it to start spinning a while and stop, this way I can practice backward inverted circuts and hurricanes in a similar manner to my real heli when the tail blows out.

My freind at the feild says if you push it hard enough on Phoenix the tail will blow out, but I cant get it too no matter how hard I push it.

There may be a adjustment in the model setup that allows you too lower the tail holding strength. There are several options in the tail. Perhaps playing with those you could get it to simulate a blow out. Maybe decrease the tail rotor diameter or something.

reduce gyro gain in the sim menu, and in fine tuning, reduce tail power as well.
I can get the tail to let go on quite a few models, but not without having to try bloody hard lol.
You shouldnt be having the tail blow out on your heli at all.
Obly thing I can think of, is your headspeed is too low, so when you load it up, tail lets go.
Try a larger pinion and some carbon tail blades.

If you bling it, they will come :D

In the model menu /setup failures/, you can setup the rudder to fail under different circumstances and stick positions, will it simulate a blowout? I don't know.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

+1 to what gorn sed
By doing that you'll get it to blow out.

What I want to now. Has any one got it set up so that you can bog the head. I have try reducing head speed. But can still do tick tocks with out a problem and I now I don't have good collective management to do so.

Turning off the governor helps with the bogging. Still not quite right, but closer.

just turing the power down is the best thing you can do about the bogging.

In the edit model menu in main rotor there's the subgroup lift and under that there's induced cyclic power lose. Well I terned the percent up to about 40. Then when I tried doing tick-tocks it started to feel a lot better. At 45% you start to realy feel the loss and if you just pump out the moves you well lose altitude hens loosing head speed.
Oh, and I've got the governor at 60% at 2100 head speed.
So what have you done to make you Sim heli feel more real, should be made into a sticky thread.

Yep thats the main problem that tic tocs are ridiculoulsy easy on Phoenix, I cant do tic tocs without bogging my heli and clumsily fluttering down toward the ground in an ungraceful mess, yet I can punch out tic tocs as good as the pros can on the sim, woould be good to get it more realistic.

I haven't been impressed with Phoenix physics either. I still need to give the new version a shot. The only sim that models blowouts well is Reflex. In fact it seemed too easy to blow out the tail without some tweaking. I may need to install Reflex on my new computer and play with it some more.

To make the tail blow out more easily, all you need to do is increase the vertical tail fin area.
A larger tail fin area will make the tail blow out more easily.
Cheers,
Rob
