Do you mean the S60(II) mechanics with the servos mounted right in the frames with direct input eCCPM?

I am doing an electric coversion, using a Scorpion 4035-500. I swap out the shaft for a threaded 8mm shaft and bolt everything up just like the glow motor (excluding fan). I have done this with Robbe machines and it works great, just need the 8mm collet.

I don't know exactly the part you are refering to, but 8 mm is .315" and 5/16 is .312". Can you use a 5/16 shaft and then use the standard Hirobo parts?

If you need an 8 mm part I can bore out a 5/16 part for you.

He needs a bored collet. I checked the Hirobo Jp website's plans for those mechanics. They only showed the standard collet.

Thanks for the help guys.
I guess you could say I need material put back in my collet. Odd that no 8mm collet is available, is that not the size that YS uses?
I do have a sleeve from Robbe that I might be able to neck the collet down with. I will have to slot it to provide the grip on the shaft. I am trying to avoid this as it could slip and/or be a source of run out.

Jason,

Both OS and YS share the same OD of the machined step in the crank inboard of the threads. Thus both engines use the standard split collet.
