I'll be painting it so it looks like my Blade 400 Huey.

I started with a motor that had been previously checked out. I peeled off the decal and removed the left over glue. I'm planning on using two Tbitz heat sinks with a little bit of heat sink paste.

Huey

If you don't have enough power because of the added wieght try the 4G3 brushed motor in it. A buddy tried one in this 4#3 for added power and seems to give him the power and no problem with the esc.

Ought to be fun. I put a fuse on mine for a while, but ended up taking it off due to the extra weight/decreased flight times...

The Huey body still needs some trimming in the seam areas. I should be able to reduce the weight a little bit when I open up the door and side windows.

The pinion gear mesh was set using two small pieces of regular printer paper. Heatsinks installed, top one reversed to clear solder blob on motor case. Here's some of the "mods" I've done to make it fly easier. I'm still debating on getting the Bell/Hiller linkage kit. I flew six, five minute flights in my basement work shop today, without the canopy or Huey body and the motor didn't get very warm at all.

RTF weight is 60.5 grams, with a 450mah battery. I didn't have to change to the larger brushed motor, it still flys OK. I have my timer now set at 4 minutes.
