I hate putting an Align product on my Synergy, like putting cheap tires on a Corvette, but these paddles are soooooooo much better than anything I've flown.

I tried the 700 FlyBar too, it was way to fast and just seemed like it would bend a lot, didn't like and didn't trust it.

The HyperformanceRC length is "just right" and it's still a rocket and really stable in FFF.

The two sets of Align paddles I bought both had defects and pain runs, lol, cheap sh*t, but they freakin work great!!!

I wish Curtis would do a paddle with this airfoil and weight.

LOL f*cker.

Man, I just needed to hear it from more than one guy, you know me, hard headed, stubborn, set in my ways, etc.

Oh, YOU WERE RIGHT, there, I said it, publicly, I can admit when I am wrong.

You were also right about the Arizona reg and ATGv3 (vs my Duralite reg and GV-1).

I have been stuck on the 5mm flybar too. But after reading your posts and seeing what Matt is flying I just ordered the Tube, Align paddles, and the botos mixers. Hopefully, I have the same eye-opening experience as you.

What hole are you running on the flybar?

Definitely ditch the 5mm flybar for 3D.

I'm not running the new mixers, stock mixers, middle hole.

Joe runs all three holes, he has a system, I'm sure when he reads this he'll post about it.

Just because you crash and strip out a linkage arm from the carrier doesn't mean that there are two other mixes that cannot be used as well. Definately ditch the 5mm flybar and use the align paddles with the hyperbar. The N9 flies great on all three mixes and I highly recommend trying all three if you own an N9 to see what you like the most. Believe it or not mine is still pretty fast on the outer hole and side to side tic tocs can still be done quickly they just require more effort. It will still 3D just fine but you can have a bit more stability or less stability depending on how fast you want the cyclic to be. I have the aftermarket mixers as well but have yet to put them on. I am betting that while using them on the outer hole you would probably end up with a cyclic speed somewhere between the inner and middle hole.

Whenever Entityofme1 crashes he just moves to another hole on the seesaw instead of buying a new one. The guy really knows how to stretch his crash budget, lol.

But hey, I can't say anything, he can fly circles around me.

Now you need to try that set up with the Botos mixers. I thought my FBL set up was quick, but this setup is even quicker..

All the guys seem to be running those here, I prefer the Stubz. Having one Align part is enough for me, I don't need three.

I like it wicked fast, so I have 160g Red Devils on it too.

P.S. The Hyper bar actually slows it down.

I tried the align bar as well and it was just too pitchy while using some SAB 710's. Granted the SAB's were pitchy blades anyway and don't compare to the smoothness and all around flight characteristics of the rotortech's I've been using. Matt uses the regular radix 710's which probably smooth out some of those pitchy tendencies that come with those lighter blades. For me it's all about trying to get a good mix of it all that will make up for my current lack of abilities to make things as easy as possible. It comes down to flying style too and what your preference is. The pro's can still make the super fast cyclic heli's look smooth as FAI but us regular guys are just regular guys and I seem to benefit more by using a combination of mixes and hardware that provides moderate speed and moderate stability.

I prefer to numb the servos around center so that I still get that fast cyclic if I need it.

We all have our preferences.
