I'd like to hear...when I joined RR several months ago clean 600's were selling in a few days...now they generate hits but no sales - not just mine, but others too. Did the price fall out on resale 600s with the introduction of the LE? Or are a lot of people moving to 700s...? I thought I had mine priced competitively, and I know there are some other posted right now, but there seems to be scant interest in 600s, although I realize it might be 50 sized helis in general.

Hard to tell.
In my opinion - the market is simply flooded with great running 600's.
There just isn't the mass conversion to move off the Evo's and Raptor's like there was two years ago.

I currently fly the T600 and don't plan on changing any time soon. It's a great flying heli. My next heli will most likely be a flybarless T600. Once I go flybarless on this heli there won't be much of a reason to ever change to another 600 machine as I can dictate the flight characteristics in the program.

it definately is taking a lot longer to sell them. I think part of the reason is because some people think they can get them dirt cheap but most people don't want to give them away.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

+1 chopper youre dead on people selling want good money for their product but people buying have it in their head that youre selling because you need money i sell because i get tired of things very fast and always want the new things on the market and then theres the people that only buy to resell so theyll send you ridiculously low insulting offers and in the long run just end up wasting your time

I just bought a new 600n on RR. I paid $450 for everything (except cyclic servos), including a JR 7703d/8900g combo, multigov, and AR7000. Then I bought 3 9451s for $150. This is a killer setup. The price reflects the market. I live in a condo complex, and it is not my fault that other people in the complex can't afford to keep their unit. The settle for thousands less than what the value is, and that hurts me if I want to sell it. I am not saying you HAVE to sell it (you made that clear in your add, and it comes across as arrogant), but why should I buy your heli, when I can get a better setup for $350 less including the shipping.

I just recently sold my R/C truck (1/8 Savage). I had $800 invested, but it sold for $350. Why? That is what someone was willing to pay.

Same here, I just recently bought my 600n, completely ready to fly. I mean with a 2.4 Futaba TX/RX and EVERYTHING for 700.00. I also got 3 gallons of fuel and an extra OS 50 hyper because I picked it up.

I think what I'm getting at is when you see a few of them go, RTF or at least really close to ready such as BNF, you basically check the price someone is asking for one and move on if it's at least not close to what you've seen before.

Regards, Brandon

It's the end of the flying season. Everyone is dumping their used equipment, and getting newer, better stuff, for next year.

It happpens every year. And, every year, someone gets upset when they can't get the money they expect for their equipment, because of it.

If you don't NEED to sell it, then hang onto it until spirng. The prices will go back up when people start buying equipment for the new season.

I can please 1 person a day.
It's NOT your day.
Tomorrow's not lookin good, either

'George' is in the ballpark +1. I've noticed this trend myself. Also, I had no problems selling my first 50 and I even got really close to what I was asking for a couple years ago. However, I had difficult time getting rid of my 600 with the price I originally was willing to sell it for a year or so later because it was during the same time frame the 700 was getting popular. In fact, I had to do allot of bargaining and just sucked up for my losses. I believe the birth of the 700 and the price its going for really put a squeeze on everything else IMO. Every FunFly I've been to since.. was flooded with them. It will be even more deficult now with the gasser version soon to be released.

Crap guys, it's hard selling anything for a decent price now, not just these 600s! I gave away dam near alot of ESCs, motors and blades just to sell them. It's a whole different ball game from a year ago trying to sell anything, dam economy more then anything I suspect, abit sad seeing peeps getting out of the hobby to pay dem bills, but what's a guy to do I suppose... ?

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

I the economic situation were in right now there's just so much used and new stuff for sale out there the markets flooded. It's a supply and demand thing. I bought 2 used heli's this year for a 1/3rd or what they were worth. Its a sign of the times. Its a buyers market. To be realistic a seller always feels that there stuff is worth twice what the market will bear.
