well considering the hobby city batteries and the prices they are offered at A lot of lipo companies are hurting! On top of that the Kong power batts were really heavy and were supposedly to never puff! That was another lie..

It does raise in interesting question as too how the big brand name packs are going to still remain competitive and to survive, now that alot of people are chooseing to use the cheaper HK packs, I think its got to the point now you cant really use the arguement that they have better performance or that they last any longer.
I just hope that HK dont bump up there prices as soon as theyve put all the other manufacturers out of bussiness.

kongs were weak, they were popular for a while because jason chow did some vids flying hard 3d and stated they lasted him 200-300 flights. we all boughty in and found out they were Ok at best for old tech lipos.

i take care of my lipos and was lucky to get 100 flights 60 with pop.

the only credit ill give is that they seemed to be a little better then outrage.

the only old companys will survive is with new tech lipos like hyperion.

theres another small breakthrough about to pop out here in a few months that will help the new tech lipos last a little longer as well

Have to admit I like them but I understand your points. I was just checking before I invest in more packs. I simply don't have the money to invest over a hundred bucks for 500 packs of 6s. I attended many fun-flies this year and the talk was of the Turnigy packs performing so well. That's what I will be trying, I guess.

Yes, they were that bad. I never thought there could be that much difference between one battery brand over another but Kongs were particularly weak and heavy.

I'm still flying mine too. All of them. They have lasted pretty well. I just treated them nice and they keep going.
