Did.. end result was my heli bogging 15' up the tail loosing control and the worst crash I have had so far =(.

It just didn't have enough power to keep head speed up. It was with the stock 14T pinion however. As it is now lost as a sacrifice to the heli gods I think I am going to get the 16T next. Are you using the stock ESC and motor? How hot is it running with the 16T?

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Stock pinion is 15T not 14T. Im not sure of the temps but nothing is hot. I really dont know why they dont put a 16T pinion in with the kit, apart from that and the carbon blades there are no other upgrades needed for a hot 3D setup.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I thought it was 14.. humm, well I will definatly give it a try! =). Thanks for the advice. You don't have to convince me of the carbon blades! I am a bit of a carbon zellot (except as "bling" carbon is sweeet, but it looks rather getto - like showing off your fiberglass =P). Besides, so far I have had 2 crashes and still haven't needed a new set of blades! Love em!

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Thanks. I am not sure what to do at this point, swap the motor out of another that is a higher KV and much more powerful than the 250 stock motor or try a 16t on the stock non SP motor first.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Local shop is out of 16t pinions so I'll pick one up in my travels next week. Turnigy 800 20C that work really well on my GT that has a 3800kV Turnigy. I hate to say it but the cyclic on my 450Pro has spoiled me...
