My Posts This: Topic Forum | Check the transmitter as well. Make sure it doesn't give any rudder input when you move the throttle stick up/down. When I had the Airtronics RD8000 radio, I always had issue with the tail drifting by itself and would blame it on the engine, heli or the 401. I didn't know it was caused by the TX until I upgraded to the Logictech 6100T. The 6100T has an LCD that show the gain, voltage, as well as amount of rudder input. I then noticed when I move the stick up or down, depending on the stick positions, it would give about 1 or 2% of rudder input even though all revo mix were turned off.
I loved that radio though. If it wasn't for that issue, I wouldn't have bought the X9303.
I forgot to add that, if the Spartan works like a 401, you should be able to tell by looking at the HH LED. The HH LED should goes off if it see any rudder input. |
