Everyone is using batteries from Hobby King these days. Use 5000 6s or 4900 6s packs with a rating of 20C or higher.

For easy flying 20C and 25C are ok. For 30C is the way to go. I fly both Flightmax and Turnigy and they are both excellent. Rhino is also popular but I have not tried them.

Not me I'm using the Hyperion 35C 5000mah and soon the ThunderPower 45C 5000mah. My experience with anything less than a 30C battery on the T600 is a poor one. They run extremely hot and voltage is erratic. This will probably reduce the number of cycles significantly. Don't have anything against the HobbyKing batts. I just don't use 'em.

even not doing anything would have been better than nothing...

I use Outrage 6 cell 5000mah batteries. Work great.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

Align 5200mah 25C packs are good, not sure if they have come out with a 30C version yet but they have with the 250 and 450 and they are even better!

Me and my buddies use the 5000mAh Zippies (I have a TTe550 and they have TR600's) and they stay pretty cool. We pretty much only do sport flying w/ the bigger electrics though cause we pull them out only when it's too windy for the smaller helis.

I have lots of Zippy/Turnigys doing well on the 450 and 500 helis

WOW $89 for the 30C 5000's!

You'll need to solder a Deans on it though if that's what your using.

I've had good luck w/ them and their internal resistances for the 25C or higher packs have been around 5mohm per cell measured on my iCharger 106B+.
