I was also a fan of the old TT black/white carbons. Couldn't beat the price either. no idea whether they are the same though

TT had changed to a different blade manufacture, and that was the end of the B&W blades.

I know were there is a set of the original TT 3827 B&W blades that has only been mounted, but he wants a set of Radix for them.

I have flown the Helimax 570 and old TT 600 blades back to back and there is little comparison. The Helimax blades are lower end sport (not 3D) blades that flex a lot and are pitch sensitive due to that flexing. The TT blades are stiffer (not as stiff as V-blades) and very smooth and predictable. A good replacement for the TT blades might be Radix blades, SAB's are nice as well but don't have as much "pop" for 3D. I believe that the specs for the new TT blades have changed, but can't remember where I saw that at the moment.

(note, I am basing the comments on Radix blades on what others have said, I have not flown them but I have flown all the others).
