well mine was done in 2007

and does it look similar. idea of the batteries came from all the pictures and emails I sent back then. it flew , but the added weight and the V2 25Cs sure didnt help it. converted a trex 600 to a 700 and it weighed 9 1/4 lbs with 12S 3850s with the avant head on it. oneway wouldnt hold up on the rex 600 though

I see that the Ebay seller rcheligears is from Taiwan.

Does Avant allow his distributors to sell Aurora kits on Ebay? The seller's listing has 4 kits in a picture. Why are they shipping Aurora kits to Taiwan before they are shipped to the US?

Anyone can sell on eBay all they want. The thing they're not supposed to do is ship the kits internationally.
This really ruins it for the domestic dealers/ distributors.
The dealer shipping kits internationally from Taiwan won't be a dealer for much longer because of this.

Because Avant is fulfilling their obligations with distributors all over the world.
Likely, those kits have been backordered for quite a while.
Once all obligations are fulfilled and the queue is cleared, you'll start seeing more and more kits stateside.

3 years is enough time wasted. Taking a break for a while.
