yes i have a gy520 on my trex 250, it holds like a bolder but the piro consistancy is horrific! theres no slop in the tail, or binding, or anything wrong with the mecanics, its setup in rate mode properly, and the piro consistancy is like the 401! a.k.a. it sucks!

any suggestions?

im using a JR x9303 with the gain at 23% in hh mode.

Its not a crash, its an upgrade opportunity! and RCHover team pilot

have you turned the end points up past 100%? Had the 401 and end points set to 120% and it was way way way too fast.

Not sure what that means, but on my setup with a 401 I've plenty of expo dialed in because at full stick the piro rate is absolutley insane!

no no no, its more like the 401, fast with the wind, slow comming around.(up into the wind/forward)

my d/r are as follows: high 100% low 88% +5 expo
in hh mode (using the travel as gain for 9303) 23%hh 20%rate (never use rate)

it holds like a rock, but when im doing piro-flips and stuff its sketchy

expo only affects the stick near center, wont really affect full stick commands at all,if you want to slow it down(piro speed) EPA/ATV or some guys like D/R.

guys he has clearly stated that the issue is not the piro speed but consistancy, what are you people not understanding about that?

Change mode from either f3c or 3d to the other and try it. Some buddies were having the same problem with their 700's and they changed there flight mode and it fixed it. I believe you will need the usb to do this.

you can switch from 3D mode to F3C on the gyro itself no usb needed

Here's from his post...

it holds like a bolder but the piro rate is horrific!

I'm not sure anything is CLEARLY stated, but rate means units over time. Such as feet per minute, beats per minute, etc. In other words, speed. So, is it spinning faster at times and slower at other times?

Yes, I know. That's why I have a fair amount of expo dialed. I like insane piro rates. I also like to be able to control my tail when I want nice precise slow manuvers. And I've never really cared for dual rates.

Do your Dual rates go higher than 100%? Most Tx do, if so max out the slower direction and adjust the other direction to match the slower.
