the doghouse pieces build together, then you just have to cut the very top loose. The bottom is already 2 separate pieces

see those engine intakes - going to have to wet the wood and curl it to shape

check out the old school sheeting. Paper templates work good, then cut the balsa and soak it in warm water for a couple of minutes. Then it will curl in your hand.

another paper template for the tail skins . so easy...

the tail upper cap consists of these 2 ribs, and a short section of the leading edge. I made 2 paper templates and wet the balsa skin and curled it in my hand to fit . then it gets cut in half.

jzanutto - I sure am enjoying your Super Snake "Whiskey" build thread. Only problem is the waiting for Dr. Tim to put mine in transit. Good job jzan and only kidding Dr. Tim.

well Boyd if you hit any landmines just ask and I'll try to give any guidance I can...

I think you will like it though. Now I like my big beast 60 cobra, but this one is so much easier to pick up and handle and not smack it into something in the room or the door frame in the house.

That is so funny Jan... I can't count the times I've banged mine against the door frames.. Or almost hitting the ceiling fan turning it over...

starts out like this, a bunch of blocks that you sand to shape. then comes the diffusers. the diffusers stick out another inch or so.

I spent a little more time detailing this cobra

How are the diffusers made? Are they made out of plastic like the Cobra's dog house?
