My Posts This: Topic Forum | I have had a Knight Pro since before it was called the Knight Pro (it was originally just called the Knight 50).
The set up is pretty straight forward. The only parts that I have had to replace are fuel lines and the ball links on the rudder and throttle.
There is nothing that I know of that needs upgrading. When they first came out, people were using red locktite on the bearings that supported the pinion gear on the clutch bell-I never had to do it.
Nothing seems to wear on these machines, so you should only be buying parts if you should crash (other than, occasionally, the aforementioned ball links and the head dampers).
Make sure the tail drive belt is in good shape, as it could be over three years old now. Also, change the fuel lines in the tank, just to be on the safe side.
It is quite easy to fly and very smooth. Ade Law, who used to fly for Compass in Britain, used to do spectacular 3D with his-the videos might still be on this forum.
I still have mine and still fly it occasionally. I fly the Knight 3D and the Atom more often (parts availability). Many of the parts are interchangeable with the Knight 3D (there are variations on some of the parts).
If you have any questions, I will be happy to try to answer.
