sensorwhat we need this kind of sensor for is the G-20 that has electronic ignition. the magnet that triggers the ignition module is of the wrong polarity for the GV-1.
So without adding the proper polarity magnet to the fan hub I thought an optical sensor using a reflective tape etc. would be the best situation. I tried to email a person that was offering optical sensors but the email came back.
I've been wondering if another Zenoah sensor could be used for the GV-1. Looking at all the photos, I see you can mount the EI sensor in a couple of locations on the engine case.
So, would it be possible to have 2 sensors mounted? One for the EI and the other for the GV-1? Just taking a wild stab in the dark here.
