Tried blades for HBK from HobbyCity. These ones:

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/...?idProduct=6602

I do not like then so far. They are too heavy for HBK from the first look. I just hovered a bit inside and there is a feeling that heli is heavy. Hopefully will fly it outside to better test them, but I think I will not change my opinion. Too heavy.

And heli does not look right any more with these blades...

What blades are you using for HBK?

Blades

I have been using these blades for almost a year and a half now on my HBK2 Carbon Edition. Very responsive blades, stiff, and these blades feel lighter than the stock wood blades or the Align Fiber Blades.

I did change the motor to a 4000 KV motor to carry 2200 mAh batteries.

288mm is too long IMO. 280mm is about max. I run HeliMax white CF blades, 275mm as well as cut down Align woodies (cut to 275mm).

These blades are only 6-7mm more than stock carbon from hole to tip, so length wise thay are more or less OK. But weight....Will test fly them in real no earlier than this weekend. But it all looks the same as when I put Radix 350 on G5 instead of stock ones. Too heavy. I will report results. Maybe my skills are not that good for them...

No, I do not like these blades. They are not for me. Stock wooden are better for my flying.

So I trade them - two flights. Pretty much new.

I would be interested in:
- balancer for DX7
- Neck strap
- Small heatsink for 12mm motor, round one, not like heat sink for BCP tail motor, but round. It is for 4G6, so the lighter - the better.
- one stock carbon blade (I ask one, because price wise it is the same as two HobbyCity blades)
- Carbon paddles for HBK
- Some tools, if you do not need, but please quality ones, like Thorp screw driver.
- Flybars, main shafts, main gears (please not stock ones) for HBK2.
- ???

I do not see much sense to sell them, but for small trade it may be OK.

Looks like these blades are really bad, if nobody wants to give even plastic tail blades or something for them. Oh well. But you never know until you try. Maybe picture is required? Just ask.

Hmm...No responses. I claimed that these blades are not good, but there were two positive responses on this thread, that they are OK. But I could not get for them even simple things.

Let's try one more time - even lower price. If you pay shipping, I ship them. I will ship, then you pay - I'll publish receipt, if you are in doubt (personal details will be removed for sure). I will cover paypal fee. So it will be no more then shipping from HobbyCity I hope. Cannot garantee same day shipping - too far from PO. If you will not be happy upon receipt - I will reimburs money, you keep the blades. Will leave this up to you. Strange, is it? HobbyCity will not do this.

So, anybody? The blades were flown couple of times and never ever crashed.

Or if somebody is in need, I will pay shipping. Just say that you need them by PM, no questions asked. I will ship. Will be glad to help. Maybe some day somehow I will be helped...

Is something wrong in this? There is no game. I just do not want these blades laying around without use and I do not want to trash them, if somebody can use them. I do not make cheap publicity - do not worry, I will not make who is recepient public or public announcements of any kind, except that blades are gone anf closing thread.
