My Posts This: Topic Forum | the printout on the top of your bc6 looks different than my bc8. the bc8 has a big '-' above pin 1 and a big '+' below pin 8.
in this configuration pin 1 is negative, and the rest of the pins are positive. in other words, each of the positive pins goes to each positive terminal in your pack. pin 1 provides the ground for checking each circuit.
if you have a VOM you can check one of your currently balancing packs to verify you have negative in pin 1 and postive on the other pins.
then, it's as simple as making sure you have pin1 negative on your custom harness.
clear as mud?
FWIW, you don't even need a harness. the hyperion connector will jam into the side of your BC6. just verify you have the pins in the right place and it works fine. i do it all the time.
if it ain't broke…break it. |
