I am using the Gaui 450 head on a mini-vbar Trex450Pro. Gaui chose to use a one-sided swash driver in their design for this head and it vibrates like hell as a result. Granted the heli still flies nicely but, at less than balistic headspeeds it rattles. On top of that, it's sloppy. It's certainly not very precise.

As suggested by another poster here, I have affixed a small piece of balancing tape opposite the one-legged swash driver. I'll try that out tomorrow. I'm just wondering if anyone has found a decent swash driver - sold seperately, that I can just bolt up. I suppose I could but, I really don't want to mod the stock driver.

Suggestions?

Anybody know when the Microheli head will be available?

Check my post and pics on the furion vbar, i also used the gaui driver but i split it up. Just be sure to get your spacing right so the phasing is correct, i ended up spacing the arms about 1mm each side.
To get rid of slop i fitted a small nut as a spacer and tightened it on the screw before attaching it to the block, now it's similar to mikados driver.

Just take the spacers out and swivel the two arms opposite sides,use you std links but get the spacing between arms right so your phasing stays centered

Yes they are standard, only 1 awesom flight so far, had a tail problem but seems to be fixed after another trimflight,see also furion mini-vbar post

A couple pieces of balancing tape on the opposite rotor blade at the balance point has worked well for me on my 450's for the last year. Just take the whole head off and balance it on a Dubro Hi-point balancer.
