I got a Fury Extreme recently, to keep my Ion company and thought maybe someone can save me a month or so of reading.
What kind of parts commonality is there between .90 models? I need a boom, for example, and the one in the ship is 31.5" so must have come off another model, along with the shaft drive, etc. Is there any thread or chart that lists stuff like this?
I could pick up a Stratus airframe for pretty short $, but what would fit?

I have a couple sets of 31.5" booms (carbon) and tube drives, TR pushrods laying around. Don't need them now, my Fury Extreme uses 33" booms.

Whatever you don't need, send my way. I love parts. I'm serious, LMK. In the meantime, I was looking for some kind of shortcut to what fit what. It seems like a lot of models morph into others, specially in the Fury family. - it would be cool to know without spending weeks reading / researching part #'s. I'm too old to take that kind of time.

Hi Muley! You will find that their is a lot of parts that have commonality between all of the Minair models. Basically their are frame sets and most of the rest of the parts can be mixed from model to model. using booms as an example you can use a 30",31 1\2" or a 33 on your extreme but would have to use the proper blade length ,tube drive and boom supports to make it work correctly. the landing gear is the same now as when the first 1001 kit came out. ( their is a couple of variants but all will fit) all of the current head designs can be used with any model. Basically you can mix and match many parts thou out the entire line of X-cells. Here is a nice data base that has almost all the models that Minair ever built .

http://www.rchelibase.com/xcell/

All i can say is if i had the first X-cell ever i could still get parts to keep it flying!!!! No other heli manufacturer can boast this

I've been reading that data base a lot, thanks. Lots of info over 20+ years of helis, which is part of the mystique for me. I suppose once I get used to the parts # system I'll be more in the zone.

so much of the parts Minair has will cross over between many of the models. The x-cell 30 and the Pro series helis are the only kits they ever made that are not supported completely in one form or another. Tom
