My Posts This: Topic  Forum		My new heli just got in the air today. It's a great flying heli. I'm just having one problem with the gy401 not holding good. Or should I say too much wag. I think it is because it is in the stock frame location, and there is no room to move. I had to use double sided tape two high to make it work. I think I will move it to the top above the servos.

let me know how you make out moving the gyro,, A Spartan is always a better choice. it's the only gyro i use in my ships,Fit perfect in the spot for it and flys flawless.. you will love this ship!

ok the gain is down to 53% and 401 is at 0% and 100 on the gryo setings I ran it up to 85 got even worse i think it is the 3m tape I used for the gyro. going to use soft tape this time . all the servos and gyro came out of a evo 90 that was never crashed and flys great

You should use the Futaba supplied double-sided foam tape.

What kind of radio are you using?

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I think he means zero delay 100% travel on the pots. When you get a chance can you list the radio equipment you are using, specifically the type of governor. Some governor's will create this kind of wag with an especially rich engine or a slower throttle servo. Next time you put it in the air listen for the engine to be surging at all. Then if we eliminate this we can go on down the list.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		yes the delay is 0 and the travel is 100% i am not using a governor at this time my radio is a futaba 6eax heli with a futaba pcm rx would like to use my gv1 but not spent the time to see if it will run with this radio no big dill i am geting a 7c 2.4 on friday so i can run my gvi and yes the motor is new

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		The gain at 53% on a futaba radio may be a little high. Try backing it down to 40 or 45% as long as the red light stays on your good to go. If that does not help have you ever set center on the gyro ?

yes i have centered the gyro this is the the one heli i did not use the stock futaba gyro tape . just changed the tape today i will see how it will fly tomorrow i am thanking it will fly great with the futaba tape.

Also make sure the fan is dial indicated. I used the stock Align hub works great

ok I went to fly the heli. And it fly's great after I installed the futaba gryo tape' the big thing was the tall pich slider was to tight so the servo has to work hard to over come the tighness and the no give 3m tape the gain is at 60% no wag

It was a great flying heli. I got rid of a evo90 for this helicopter. What I really like is the price of the repair parts. Can't wait for the motor to be broke in so I can take it upstairs.
