This question goes out to those currently flying F3C. I'm trying to determine if it is more advantageous on some maneuver to use rate mode rather then HH mode. Is it safe to assume most keep HH Hold on at all times.
I've been using Rate mode and HHhold in F3C. For schedule "A/C" I used HHhold for hovering, Pushover, flipping-pullback,Spike. Every other maneuver I use rate mode in Schedule "A/C".
For those that use rate mode for certain maneuvers what advantages do feel you have ? Are u finding maneuvers more predictable with the inherit factors of rate mode.
I use rate mode for the maneuvers which the heli is meant to fly through. It allows me to track better in forward flight and less corrections through the maneuvers if the rev-mix is set properly.
