My Posts This: Topic Forum | Positive IDSorry guys, I do not think it is a GMP machine. When I first saw the pics, I thought it was a hirobo 888, I have a new unflown one, purchased several years ago in a semi assembled state from the, then Australian distributors, as a new second hand machine, the rotor mast is rather rusty, as is the flybar, the black anodising leaves something to be desired, but this machine has never been completely assembled,or flown. I think the one in the pics is a Hirobo 808, it is almost the same as my 888, it might even be a bit of a Mongrel. My 888 has the ribbed frames, and all the other bits that this one has, except for a couple of variations, the machine in the pics has a Hirobo 555 flybar carrier(my son has one of these and a bunch of bits for it)the 888 carrier is made up of 4 seperate parts, it also has what appears to be wooden servo mounts, just like a 505, (we have one of those as well)the 888 has metal frame servo mounts, apart from the flybar carrier, the head looks identical to my 888, the landing gear mounts, and tail boom are black, mine are natural aluminium, the tail rotor gearbox is held in by the same worm drive hose clamp as mine. I know that GMP used a lot of Hirobo parts, I am a bit of a fan of Mr Gorham' machines, but I think this one is down to Mr Hirobo.
