Which of these three Futaba digital servos in your opinion is best suited for CYCLIC controls for all around flying including 3D.?

I've the 9151s. Was supposed to get 9252s, oh well. The 9151s hold their centre/position better than the 9252s. They should be fine for the meantime.

Edit: Do any of you reckon the 9151s are too slow? Yet they're slightly faster than the 9202s (0.22sec) - very common cyclic servos. Todd uses them.

You probably would have to be CY to utilise the speed of the 9252s!

speed of the servo

One question to all,

how many times per flight do you quickly "bang" the stick to the max so you would notice the difference in speed?

I know I dont.. quite franckly I dont think I would notice any difference betwen a .13 servo and a .22 (except on the tailrotor).

If your worried about getting the best Digital servos check out some Hitec servos that have much more preformance for a lot less $$$.
Just my honest opinion.

Hitec digital

Vetrider,

That depends on where you buy them from. Hitec digitals from Servocity.com are about $88, but you could go to Cyberheli or Helihut and pick up the 9151 or 9252 for about $90.

I do like the Hitec digitals and I am using a Hitec 5945 (153 oz, 0.16sec) digital on my collective, but the gear tolerance is a little loose for my likings. I am considering other Hitec digitals for my cyclics, but I just wanted to see what futaba digitals people are using on thier cyclics.

Thanks
Darren
