Where do we get these new angular bearings?
2 pcs Angular Bearings (cod. 8602600A)
Someone said they were the same as a Raptor! Is this true?
I did a google search and found only the original post from ElyQ.

Lets see if we get a response from HQ!

I got to say I did open up the box on the competition before putting it up (must wait until Christmas) and though the tail is basically the same design as the V1 Ultimate ElyQ added/changed the things I complained about there (tail hub design and metal tail fork). I did not expect this tail to feel SO tight, no noticeable slop! - tail assembly was pre-assembled.

also, for some reason I missed the part where the kit comes with a CF tail boom. kits that cost 2 times this don't come with CF booms, metal blades grips ect..

.. P-gas, T700, V50c/u, R50T, T4/250 and a Cricket ..

That tail works really well. I have flown alot of belt drives, and they dont work that well, this one really holds on tight, and doesnt develope slop after 20 flights like some others do.

The quality of the kit is very nice. They are really trying to give the consumer what they want, at a nice price. So I am glad to hear you are happy with the kit, and its attention to detail and quality.

Flying it? It flys very true, locks in and tracks awesome. I know you will really enjoy it once you get it going and tuned to your liking.

Should have some info for everyone on the Bearings tomorrow.

Thanks

Craig

Okay. Word is that the Distributors should have them. Experiencerc.com has alot of Ultimate parts, so check them out. Also Rcheliworkz.com He has Competition parts. But bearings are all the same. Either Distributor should have these Bearings.

Let us know

Hope this helps

No, The competition bearings are just standard Thrust and Radial Bearing. Nothing special.

I cannot give to much info on this new system because I have not used it. But tomorrow I will contact factory on the where abouts of this system, and more information for you all on the function of them. I was originally told that our Distributors had them, but i guess that is not true. I will get to bottom of it tomorrow morning.

I am flying the competition with normal tail bearings as I stated. I have had absolutely no issues as of yet. Over 100 flights thus far.

hope this helps

I have been flying the new Angular Bearings now for about 25 flights. They are super smooth, and feel just the same as a thrusted tail. Nice thing is, you don't have to worry about getting dirt into them like a thrust bearing, and there is no maintenance.

Hope this helps
