I run 2180 and its plenty frisky. I am thinking of turning it down to 2100. 100 makes a big difference.

Ive turned it down to 2030 but it got dark so test flight wasn`t an option.

Put your Raptor paddles on the 600N. It will track much better.

not one person has asked the important question here, what engine/pipe are you running in your trex600? It dont mean beans what kind of heli your flying, to know what headspeed you need to run with it. You have to know what engine your running, to know what the rpm's should be.

I went through all of what you are going through, tried almost every paddle and set-up combination in existence.
I did eventually get somewhere with it, but it was more a case of getting used to it.

At some point i put one of my R50's back in the air to find that....... The R50 'just' suited me better!! 'felt easier in my hands'

The conclusion i came to was no matter what you do to the 600 it just isnt as stable/predictable in windy conditions.

I decided to trade agility with stability.

We all feel things different.!!!!

the raptor is heavier than the trex. just as the big 90's fly smoother than the 50's. weight has everything to do with how it will react with the wind.

Good point wow cant believe I missed that!

The Curtis blades seem the best all around blades. You will find some blade are "sharper" and effected "twitchy" more than others in the wind.

My personal choice is the Rototechs, but the most stable blades I ever used were Modelsports, (on my 30)

Heavier blades will be more stable
center of balence cordwise makes a huge difference and how they handle but you cant get those specs online, youll have to fly to find which are more appealing. You could try to borrow anothers blades for a tank and feel different types out.

Good catch there ANDROSKI
