Hello Guys

I have this gaui Chinook and have manage to set it up so its a real nice flier...but only for a minute or two then it lose power, think this was related to esc but after switching to a 25 amp the prob is still actually, I have tried to losen the belt for a smother friction
and also changed the lipo set up to 3s and more Mah for longer flighttimes but as I wrote it doesnt matter due heat problems, what I noticed is that the esc and the motor is getting hot, especially the motor, so for now im a bit unshure if the problem is related to the motor or esc, what do you think??...should the motor get so hot that it is near unpossible the put the finger on it?

I had real problems from the beginning with this kit but after hours
of patience and trimming finally it flew real nice but just for a minute or two, if anyone could sort this up it would be highly appreciated

Did you change the motor pinion when you went to the 3S batt?

No I didnt, just swaped to a 25a esc, I also tried to run 2s with the
25a esc but the heating prob is still on, gone try to put a gaui 50a in and run with 2s but around 1500mah as the 3s,

Going to 3S should have raised your head speed around 388rpm. What C rating is the battery packs, I'm thinking at least 30C. Also that CH47 doesn't look like it would get much air flow to your components.

Yeah, you right about that, since the esc is inside the fuse without any possibility to airflow this probably is a major fact, mine 2s battery is a 2s hyperion 35c, as for now im going to try to change
to a bigger esc but keeping the 2s battery, realy need to find a solution to this as it due all odds flies real nice.
