Set your idle first to perfection.

What I did was:

Close the idle needle all the way and turn it up by bits to get the perfect idle. The rest is as per normal. The important note is to get a perfect idle and the rest will follow suit.

In addition I think your mid range might be too rich and it could be the reason that your engine quits at 45%..

Or your fuel line is in pressure nipple, instead of fuel feed nipple.

Tried this and result was same

Thanks TmMugen for the tips

That was the normal prosedure how I setup the engine.

Hi

A badly set engine will give you vibrations on the tail fin and boom supports as well.

Your engine should start to smooth out when it breaks in .

Hope this helps

If it ain't broke then break it.

I would replace tank surrounding rubber to Avant Aurora rubber. This sorts tank foaming.

Vibration could be caused from many reasons.
- different size o-ring holders in head hub, causes head to wobble in certain HS.
- counter gear mesh adjuster is not middle, causes that Output shaft not in center of tail boom holder, leads to torque tube twist and this can be the reason to the tail blurr.

Source of these symptons/fixes, see the previous posts in this forum, kasama section.

I hope that these will sort out your issues with Srimok.

STOP! Why is everyone saying to replace the tank rubber with Avant tank rubber? That doesn't fix anything! Don't bandaid the result of a problem; find the root cause. My tank was foaming during the maden flight. Then I fixed the problem! I had excessive side-to-side play in the blade grips and spindle, added two small shims and all vibrations went away. Tank as smooth as glass. The Srimok is a fine machine, well designed and engineered. No need to re-engineer!

I told my parents I wanted to be a pilot when I grew up, they said I can't do both!

Could you shed light on these:
-shim size used?
-Your weathering shaft length? 91.85mm - 92.15mm

See my post: http://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/t...?top=1256658218

I didn't have time to source any shims, so I shortened several shafts to be "right" length.

I find that those o-ring holders in head hub were different size. Ordered a new set, those were proper pair.

Engine is beeing run smooth all the time (took it out from my Freya Evo.)

Sorry, i didn't measure the feathering shaft nor the shims. I just used the spare shims i had from my Synergy N9.
