My Posts This: Topic Forum | With 12 flights on the 4in1 something doesn't make sense. The first thing to do is call or email Horizon. 9.5 out of 10 guys find their customer service the best in the hobby. I would convert the CP to CP pro and add the new BCPP2 brushed motor and DD tail. Horizon might stand behind the 4in1 and if you buy the conversion parts from them, they might give you the 3in1 in it's place. I had an old BCPP that sitting around collecting dust that I added the new main motor to and DD tail. Unbelievable difference and it will not cost you much (read my current post about it). One more very important thing to add is the paper clip mod. Simply exchange the retaining pin that holds the head to the main shaft for a 3/8" piece of a paper clip and once installed bend the ends of the clip down or over so it doesn't slip out. This mod will save your 4in1 or 3in1 from burning up in a crash; the clip breaks before the electronic component self destroys. Then just replace the clip. BTW it sounds like you might have damaged the 4in1 in a crash; look though the transparent plastic for a burned spot. My old BCPP went from a meek backyard or indoor flyer to a fun outdoor sport flyer that will do just about anything I can do. |
