Think I've asked this question before?

Heres my setup .....

Futaba S9252 cyclics
Align 2n1 regulator
5000mAh 3Cell lipo batt
JR770T gyro w/DS8900G T/S
690mm Radix mains w/ 105mm radix t/r
YS91ST engine w/ CY muffler - 20% nitro
V-blade paddles
CSM20 Gov

Normal mode - B/S -3, M/S +5.5, F/S +9
Idle1&2 - -10, 0.0 +10
T/Hold -14 0.0 +14

Seeking One head speed to cater my flying style .....

Big 3D manouvers & F3C at this stage .....

like to hear what you guys are running on your X90s

I would give it a couple more degrees of pitch in idle up 2 at least . That ST might surprise you . Not that I have a x90 but my Synergy is at 1950 / 2000 most of the time . Hope this helps

Soooooo 1950/2000 your head speed - what would the engine rpm be ....

1750rpm ????? I wouldnt know how to work it out.......

Well your going to have to do a little math . Divide your main gear an pinion gear to get a ratio there . Tho I'm not familiar with your gov but it should have a chart or something to convert after you have a desired head speed and gear ratio .

With the YS91ST you want to run the 93t main gear like as the manual states. That give's you a ratio of 8.45:1.

I ran a YS91SR when I had mine and I ran 1950 ST1 and 2050 ST2. I usually kept it in ST1 as it was just fine.

I ran a linier curve an all flight modes 0-100. If I recall I was running -12 - +12. I might have been at -13 - +13 I'll have to look to see if I wrote it down.

I like it much better than a 600n .
