First off, im looking at selling my nitro. im keeping all the electronics, but sell the engine heli and all starting equipment and 2/3 gallon of fuel. It has given me nothing but problems. I have never been good with nitro, even with the cars. I thought a heli would be different because of the larger engine...but i was fooling myself. Im NOT giving up on helis.

Anyway... Im looking at swift kit http://www.centuryheli.com/products...1¤tid=304
or
http://www.centuryheli.com/products...2¤tid=333

any thoughts on it?

Im still learning to fly, so im more concerned about flight time.

Go easy on me, I'm new!

Sorry, the links do not seem to work for me?

But if one of them is the combo with the Swift 16 and the 600+ motor and their 80A ESC, it is a winner in my books.

electric is definitely the place to be if you don't like nitro (I don't, really)

is this what you meant to link to?

what packs are you going to run? Looks like that's the only other thing you will need.

I would be one of those to recommend the Swift 16 in a heart beat but given their new RADIKAL 50 gasser, the free opinion might change.

Whatever 16 combo you buy, you still need to add at least 2 batts and a charger. ($300?)

Personally I would go with 5S as it will be a happy medium.

depends on what you think you will really be doing with it. One of their power combos is a 550 motor and 4S 4000mah battery.

If you are still learning to fly, and know you wont be running a high head speed and attempting 3D then this is a cheaper option. It would be a decent combo for a light scale fuselage that is just going to be cruised around, no aerobatics, probably get a good flight time out of it too.
