My Posts This: Topic Forum | Gnut you waited too long to go BL; Medusa went out of the RC business recently. Their BL tail motors are (were) the best. I doubt you can find one of their 12x30s now. What motor are you going to get for the tail?
Deanguy I'm the only one doing this, I think, but I put a brushed tail motor on the opposite side as stock (right side as you view from the rear). The motor gets cooled from the prop since it is pulling air over the motor. I use a GWS tail fin installed before and in front of a BCPP2 motor mount installed upside down. The brushed motors last forever for me because they never reach that boiling point that hurts a motor. Mitch is just plain lucky. Isn't that true Mitch? |
