OK
I measured the distance the ball link for the tail is from the center of rotation and it is at 10mm

The heli currently has a set of wood blades that are 690mm

The tail blades are ballanced and I would say the tail wag is a lower frequency wag to the left and right. Not up and down.

I checked the bearings and they are all smooth.

Fly bar weights are installed.

The heli model is #1001 x cell 60 st

The tail wags regardless of gyro gain. It actually seems to have zero effect.

I downloaded the os 61 manual and reset all of the needles to the factory defaults and the motor runs much better now. As in it cranks up immediately. I can fine tune it because I am to nervous to do climb outs with a wagging tail.

Dont know about the 0832 HD transmission block. What should I look for?

Did you try the suggestions I posted? Ten mm is probably not out far enough, you need to be in the ballpark.

Really? I figured moving it out farther would cause the wag to worse by decreasing the reaction time of the tail?

I ordered a set of cf tail blades and they are on the way.

I have not checked the torque tube yet but it is on the list of things to do once the new blades show up.

I will put it all together and take her up once the blades get here and hope to god it fixes it!

Thanx everyone for your input here.

If you have the 0832 block the lower mainshaft bearing block will be gold in color and look like this pic of the 0832-1 and the pinion shaft will be in the 0832-2 block that is also in this pic

Wooden Main Blades:
If the chordwise CG is off, the blades won't be running in the same plane across the head axle.
Apart from that, assuming these are the original MA Blades, I would call them "unsafe" to use by now. They are that old that there is a fair chance that the glue is letting go left right and centre.
Don't try to reach those high M.Blade rpms as the gear ratio of the old ones was somewhere around 10:1
