OK- I'm helping a friend setup a TZV2 with a Futaba 7CH 2.4 Radio.
1st Question- We set up all the rod lengths as per the supplement sheet that was included with the manual. When set up this way, we get about 15º+ & about 9º negative pitch. Are these rod lengths correct? They seem to be off.
Is there a swash tool to set the correct height for the swashplate above the frames/bearing block? & if so, what is it's height, in MM's?
Second issue, After setting the servos up to have the servo balls vertical on all the CCPM servos, & then adding a small amount of subtrim to get the balls completely vertical, the center seems to change after we work on the pitch curves. After a bit, all the CCPM servos are now tilted forward way to much at center stick. The servos are Futaba S3152's. He is just starting out & will be hovering only with these servos so they should be sufficient.
I checked all the ATV's & they are all at 100/100 & there are no mixes enabled that I can see. The swash mix is set at 50/50/50 for all the CCPM servos.
How far out on the servo arms are the ball supposed to be set? He has them on the outside holes on the Futaba "star" arms.
Thanks

you can go to your swash mix menu and play with the pitch value. for instance if you are at 50% now make it 55% and then check your pitch again. usually my values aren't all the same like you list. that should help you a little. just make sure your swash stays level throughout it's travel after you get your pitch where you want it. my values with the factory lengths on the rods in the swash mix are
ail. +60%
ele. +60%
pit. +50%
not going to be identical for everyone but it gives you an idea of something to try. you can go + or - depending on the pitch you need.

Thanks for replying.
I mainly wanted to know if the addendum sheet rod lengths were correct. It sounds like they are. I'll look elsewhere for the anomoly in the setup.
