Snow has come once and left for a while. Trying to get it broke in before there is very few days left per month that one can fly.


Temps have been cooler of course. Landed yesterday and was in the 182 degree range off the exhaust fins...lol. I am rich on the high end needle though and was not loading it near as a broke in motor. It was cooled way before I got to it.

I leaned the high end back to 1 1/2. Running like a champ.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Several of us bought Wally motors more than a year ago, so Wally saved the old fans/shrouds for us until the time came to deliver the motors. Now Wally can't get the shrouds made anymore because his fiberglass guy stopped being reliable. But not to worry. Wally has recently taken my Wally shroud and sent it to another fiberglass guy to see if he can dupicate it. Hopefully the Wally fans/shrouds will be available again soon. If this new fiberglass manufacturer doesn't work out, Wally will try to make a Wally fan that fits inside the stock Spectra shroud.
