Mustang Ranch, exit 22 off I 80. Follow the dump road till you go under the rail road viaduct. Turn right. You'll see the pad.

Ps if you swipe the pavers, we will just replace them.

The reno field is sweet but hardly anyone flies there unfortunately.

On a good day at Mustang you'll find..Supersixtwo, Hampilot, weeman, eric, papasal, trent, helifisher, myself and maybe one or two of the reno guys but they haven't been around in a while.

Go to the RRCC if you fly planks!

Fly in Mustang if you fly helis! We have a pretty good group of friendly guys out there. I might be able to come out on Sunday if I don't pick up some work. We'll see, I've been booking up alot of days recently. We usually sart getting there around 8am, and it's been getting close to freezing every night here the last week or so.

Oh, and no AMA required, we're a bandit field! Normal safe flying is expected.

Sorry.

We were done flying by about 11. The wind was getting pretty gusty. If the weather is good Tuesday morning, I'm going to try to fly again before it turns cold for the next 6 months. I would try to be there around 8am as long as the weather is cooperating. Can you go that early?

I took a ride to the RRCC club no one there either. On the way back stop at a park on eagle canyon rd and got a few flights on my Trex450pro. It was pretty windy.
Hey I never seen a club that charges $10.00 for visitor to fly. All the clubs that I have been a member of allows three visits. Some an entire week. Its just common hospitality.
During the week 5:30pm is the best I can do but on the weekend any time.

Yeah.....

All the stuff you mentioned and a few other things are what's kept me from joining RRCC. If you are flying small electrics, maybe we could fly at a local school yard here in Verdi. It's a little closer if you're staying in downtown Reno.

Most of the other guys can't fly during the week because they have real jobs. Sucks for them, but at least they still have jobs to go to. That's a good thing these days. Anyways, let me know.

I finally got together with the Mustang site crew and did a bit of flying. These guys really make you feel at home. My Trex450pro when in and the guys donated blades and a flybar to get me back in the air. Still missing the front torque tube gears if anyone has any. I will be around tomorrow in the morning for a while. Thanks again guys for the help.
My scenic drive around lake Tahoe was awesome! I been to a lot of places in the USA and overseas, but this is a must see. Tomorrow afternoon I'm driving around the west side of the lake.

Hey Luis,

Glad to hear your trip is going well! I went parasailing over the east shore...was awesome! Take some pictures! I imagine Lake Tahoe has canged a bit since the 15 years that I was there.

Charlie thanks for the kind words. I should have the gears on Thursday. The 450 should be ready for one final outing at the Mustang site Friday. I'll be out there from 1:30pm on if anyone is interested.

Count me in!!

I flew 4 packs yesterday, and 3 packs today while I was down in Bridgeport. The Logo is flying good, aside from my gyro not working up to par, FFF is fine. I will see you guys out there for sure.
