My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Thanks Tim. I saw that earlier but wasn't sure if I'd buy the K12 version w/CF blades.

I'm actually still trying to decide between buying the SE or just getting another plastic kit. My MT is almost two years old and still has the original swash (and several more original parts).

My tracking has been off/on/off for so long, I was going to either upgrade the head to a Kasama or just buy a new SE. I'm running my HS at about 2900-3000 now and think I might be better (safer) going to a metal head.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I just orderd a KASAMA head from Grand RC. They have a Kasama full head with lower washout and TT swash all for $109. That's SOOOOOOooooo cheap. It will be here Saturday. I hear good things about it. I really never was impressed with the TT metal head. I'll be able to tell you more in a few days.

Please do let me know what you think of the Kasama head. Ready Heli had it on sale for something like $85 about 6 weeks ago but of course I didn't want/need it then.

What did you dislike about the TT metal head? The one thing that I don't like is the fact that they still require those plastic spacers in the blade grips.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I got it today but am a bit peaved for two reasons.

A. Did NOT send the lower washout and lower mixing arms.

B. 4.5mm blade grips (Would rather have the 5mm, but no big deal)

Outside that it's fine and includes all bearings. I've heard of Grand RC leaving out the lower washout and levers with other orders so I wasn't surprised. I'm a bit disapointed though as I wanted to fly it this weekend.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Well that sux. If I end up ordering this package from them I will send email in advance to make sure I have someone that will verify BEFORE the order is shipped that everything is in the box being shipped. Let me know what they say about your order.

Also, can you tell me what size blade grip slot is needed to run standard TT, Align and Radix blades. I don't want to use the plastic adapters or have to file the inside of the grips to make them fit.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I don't know how thick the root is on those blades. I use Rotortechs and they fit tight in the grips. I here of some spreading them open by cramming needle nose pliers in the grip and spreading them apart.

You can always buy 5mm grips. The ones that come in the combo are 4.5mm, but like I said that really isn't a big deal.

If Grand RC sends me the rest of the stuff then it's REALLY a bargain. If they screw me over... it's still a smokin deal.

Well, yesterday I sent them an email asking if ALL the head items were included and they replied yes. I placed my order last night and this morning they sent me an email saying the TT swash was out-of-stock and did I want to wait 3 days or get a refund. Of course I would wait 3 days. I just hope it all works out for both of us.
