Looks good but I'd rather not have to get the MA pinion.

Anyone know of a suitable metal bearing block that will fit the top of a long 6mm Scorpion shaft?

Yesterday I flew mild 3D, FFF, and some punch outs for 6 minutes on my 700e. I put back 2400mAh back into each lipo. The voltage per cell was 3.82V. What is the safe discharge zone for lipos? Thanks.

80% of the capacity is the normal rule

Low voltage is what hurts the lipo's. You want a 6S to be at no less than nominal voltage (22.2V). My new TP 45C's will actually give more than 80% and still be at 22.2 or more. They have come in taking 4000ma and started charging @ 22.3-22.4V These are the first batteries I've ever seen do that. I have a set of VX's I run back to back with the TP's, they don't do that.

The 80% rule is a very conservative value lipo manufacturers must work around. In the real world, delivered capacity decreases as your average rate of discharge increases. A lipo discharged at its continuous "C" rating, ideally, should deliver at least 80% of the packs rated capacity. At a .5C discharge rate, you should be able to get 100% of a packs rated capacity without damaging its cells.

I was set to try a 700e conversion this winter until I read this thread. After doing some research at HF it seemed I could get close to 8 minutes from a 700e using 12s 35c Hyperions. Now I'm seeing 5 minute flights being reported. I plan to use a Xera motor, Jive ESC, 12s 35c packs, and run a headspead of around 2000. Flying is hard sport/mild 3D. Is 8 minutes unattainable? That's close to what I can get if I lieave it nitro.

I also plan to use the packs from my Logo 500. Is it bad to use packs in multiple helis?

Scan back in this thread...

SB Blades, VBar, lighten the load, its doable, but it all comes down to how you fly and how much pitch your using.

8 min , 2000 HS, Mild 3D, NAW! you coulld get it having 3 flight modes. Normal, 2000, Idle 1 1700, Idle 2 1600.

2 min of mild 3D with 2000 HS
1 min 1600 soft 3D
2 min 1700 alittle harder soft 3D
2 min or 2000 and mild 3D
